Gorakh Hill Station

Did you know that the province of Sindh has its own hill station? All you have to do is travel to Dadu to see it. It is Sindh’s highest point and lies on the border of Sindh and Balochistan. Although the roads to this place are in poor condition, when one reaches Gorakh Hill Station, the journey becomes worth it.

Shandur Top

 Located in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Chitral area, Shandur Top is thought to be the highest polo ground in the world. Although snow keeps the place covered in snow in winter, Shandur Top turns into a lush green scenery in summer. Every July, Shandur Polo Festival is held here and is an attraction to tourists and natives. It is difficult to get here in winters considering the heavy snowfall and slippery tracks, but in summers visitors use jeeps to reach it.

Deosai

Referred to as the ‘land of giants’, this beauty is situated in the Astore District of Gilgit-Baltistan. It is on the boundary of Karakorum and western Himalayas. It is home to various kinds of flowers, countless species of animal, including the brown bear and snow leopard. It is the highest plateau in the world. So if you wish to see wildlife in Pakistan, this place cannot be missed.

Concordia

This Mountaineers paradise is located in the extreme north of Pakistan along the borders of China. Pakistan bears five of the tallest 14 mountain peaks of the world, and four of these can be seen from Concordia.

Lake Saif-ul-Malook

This beauty is located at the northern end of Kaghan Valley. It is in the north-east of Mansehra Division of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. Not only the mountains surrounding it make the place beautiful, but its reflection in the lake is definitely breathtaking! Su mmers are a good time to go here using the jeeps. However, in winter, it can take quite long to get here and sometimes the jeeps aren’t a good option considering slippery paths.

Kaghan Valley

The Kaghan Valley is a beautiful valley in the north-east of Mansehra District . It attracts many tourists from not only Pakistan but also from the whole world. Laying in lower Himalayan mountains range, the Kaghan valley, famous for its bewitching splendor and natural beauty, is one of the most charming tourist resorts in scenic Hazara division. There are many beautiful and attractive spots like Shogran, Jared, Naran,Lake Saiful Muluk, Lake Dudipat Sar, Lake Lulu Sar, Babusar Pass and much more to do.

Kalash Valley

Kalash Valley is one of the major tourist attractions in Pakistan. This is situated in the Chitral district of Pakistan. This valley has a historic background but its history has controversies. Kelash is actually a very old Greek civilization. The people belonging to this civilization are called ‘The Kelash’. Belongs to old tribes and have their own religion and culture. This valley has a unique and amazing culture. The People here live in small villages which they built on the hill sides. These villages are at the banks of the streams and rivers. People construct their homes with rough shaped logs. People of Kalash are cheerful, they celebrates many festivals like Uchal Festival, Phoo Festival and Chomos Festival. There are many attractive sites for visiting.

Swat Valley

Swat is a valley and an administrative district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. It is the upper valley of the Swat River, which rises in the Hindu Kush range.
Swat Valley, Mini Switzerland of Pakistan has many attraction for visiting such as Mahodand Valley & Lake, Natural Ushu Valley & Ushu Forest, Malam Jabba (Famous ski resort in Swat Valley), Madyan, Swat & Kalam Vallies, Bonir, Der and many other naturaly beautiful sites.

Hunza Valley

The Hunza Valley is a mountainous valley in the Gilgit–Baltistan region , It was formerly a princely state. The Hunza valley is situated north/west of the Hunza River, at an elevation of around 2,500 metres. The Valley has three Regions – Upper Hunza (Gojal); Center Hunza and Lower Hunza.
Hunza valley is the most beautiful place to visit and have many places to see. Some of these beautiful places are. Rakaposhi Base Camp; Diran Base Camp; Hoper Glacier; Passue and Gulmit; Khunjrab Pass; Atta Abad lake and Nagar valley.

Neelum Valley

Neelam Valley is a 144 km long bow-shaped valley in Azad Kashmir Region. The Valley is situated at the North & North-East of Muzaffarabad (The Capital of Azad Kashmir). Running through the Lesser Himalaya, the Neelam River valley has excellent scenic beauty, panoramic views, towering hills on both sides of the noisy Neelum river, lush green forests, enchanting streams and attractive surroundings make the valley a dream come true.
Neelum valley is one of most attractive place for tourists due to its famous lush greenery, springs, streams,lakes and hilly and sloppy mountains. Angkor Wat, Cambodia






Angkor Wat (Khmer) is the largest religious monument in the world. Situated in Cambodia, it was first a Hindu temple and then subsequently a Buddhist temple complex. It was built as a state temple by Suryavarman II, the Khmer king in the early 12th century in YaÅ›odharapura (present-day Angkor), the capital of the Khmer Empire. The temple depicts the classical Khmer architecture. Now it appears on Cambodia’s national flag as a symbol of Cambodia.

Vatican City occupies an area of approximately 44 hectares (110 acres), and has a population of 842. It is internationally recognized as the smallest independent state in the world by both area and population. Vatican City serves as the spiritual center for millions of people worldwide.

Kaaba, Mecca, Saudi Arabia







The Kaaba, meaning cube in Arabic is a square building at the centre of Islam’s most sacred mosque, Al-Masjid al-Haram, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is the most sacred point within this most sacred mosque; so making it the most sacred location. During prayers, Muslims around the world are expected to face the Kaaba. Millions of pilgrims gather to circle the building during the Hajj.



Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Bhutan



     



Paro Taktsang, also known as the Tiger’s Nest Monastery, is the popular name of Taktsang Palphug Monastery. Situated in the upper Paro valley in Bhutan, it is a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred place and temple complex. Tiger’s Nest Monastery was built in 1692 around the Taktsang Senge Samdup cave where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours in the 8th century. Padmasambhava is the one who introduced Buddhism in Bhutan.








The Harmandir Sahib, Punjab, India









The Harmander Sahib is a prominent Sikh Gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India known as Darbaar Sahib and popularly known as the “Golden Temple”. It was built by Guru Ramdas Sahib J, the fourth Sikh guru, in the 16th Century. Maharaja Ranjit Singh covered the upper floors of the Gurdwara with gold, for which it got its name as Golden temple.
